With Indian summer temperatures touching 50, our co-founder Simran curated her list of perfect getaway hotels for when you want to cool off in the mountains but still be away from the crowds.

• Shel, Ladakh:

Shel is a luxury homestay consisting of three en-suite bedrooms. With beautiful views all around, it is the perfect gateway to explore the extraordinary mountain region of Ladakh. With it being just twenty minutes drive from Leh you get to be close to cafe’s and sights of Leh and yet far away for some peace and quiet.

 

• Sitara, Manali:

• The Lodge at Wah, Palampur:

The Lodge at Wah has 6 individual ensuite rooms amidst the tea estate. Inspired by the local Gaddi homes, the property is built in a similar style.You can walk around the area and soak in the views of dhauladhar ranges, explore it’s tea gardens, enjoy a picnic or try your hand at pottery at Andretta.
